Garuda patrol surveillance drone: Drone manufacturer Garuda Aerospace, backed by Cricket legend Mahendra Singh Dhoni, launched a border patrol surveillance drone, Trishul, on Friday.

The surveillance drone can be used to monitor people’s movement and natural calamities and assess traffic, among other things.

Equipped with a variety of sensors, including high-definition cameras, infra-red, and radar, Trishul can provide data regarding speed and safety threats, Garuda Aerospace said in a release here.

Launched as Garuda Aerospace’s flagship Border Patrol Surveillance Drone, Trishul will empower forces in times of need for monitoring and analysis and people movement. Trishul can also be used in natural disasters, calamities, and emergencies to access real-time images, videos, or suspicious activities. The drones can also be used to assess traffic situations.
