I had the privilege of getting his blessings for years. I will never forget my visit to the Chandragiri Jain Mandir in Dongargarh, Chhattisgarh, late last year. That time, I spent time with Acharya Shri 108 Vidhyasagar Ji Maharaj Ji and got his blessings.”

Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais has conveyed his condolences on the death of Jain Sant Acharya Shri Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, who took Samadhi in Dongargarh.

Governor Ramesh Bais said: 

”Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj’s life was dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge, tapasya, and the welfare of humanity. A profound scholar of Sanskrit and Prakrit languages, Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj enlightened the masses through sermons, writings, and poems.

He showed the people the path of enlightenment and salvation. The nation has lost a Rashtra Sant and social reformer in his passing. His thoughts are eternal and will continue to guide humanity on the path of righteousness. I offer my Pranams to this great Acharya and convey my condolences to his disciples and followers.”
