Radio Host Amin Sayani Passes Away: Rajil Sayani, Ameen Sayani’s son, stated that his father, Ameen Sayani, who was well-known for singing “Binaca Geetmala,” died at the age of 91.



Over the last two days, the film industry has been saddened by the loss of some of its notable members. Following the passing of Suhani Bhatnagar, known for her role in the film “Dangal,” and actor Rituraj Singh, another sad news has emerged. Amin Sayani, a well-known announcer, narrator, and talk show host on Radio, Vidhidha Bharati, has passed away at the age of 91. He succumbed to a heart attack on Tuesday evening. Amin Sayani’s son, Rajil Sayani, confirmed the news of his father’s demise.

Ameen Sayani, a renowned radio broadcaster, passed away at the age of 91 after suffering a heart attack. He was swiftly rushed to the hospital for medical attention. Amin Sayani was taken to Mumbai’s HN Reliance Foundation Hospital following a heart attack, but unfortunately, he passed away during his treatment. The veteran announcer had been dealing with high blood pressure and other age-related health issues.

Amin Sayani had been grappling with back pain for the last 12 years, leading him to rely on a walker for mobility. Eventually, on February 20, he bid farewell to the world.

His immense popularity soared with the debut of the Geetmala show in 1952, making it the top-rated program of its time. Maintaining its success from 1952 to 1994, the show continued to captivate audiences. It was later re-telecast from 2000 to 2001 and 2001 to 2003 with some modifications. Amin Sayani, with his captivating voice, held a special place in the hearts of his listeners throughout his prolific career.
